How to read the result
Preliminary fit for rectangular units. Checks include collisions, the door opening in the final orientation, weight, full support of each stacked item on a single base and total load above it.
The model does not determine securing, transport stability, floor loads or a collision-free loading path. The reveal animation is a presentation, not loading-order instructions. Cargo dimensions must include packaging, pallets and securing materials.
The plan helps organise loading and prepare for a conversation with the operator. It is worth confirming the container and securing details before booking.

From cargo dimensions to a 3D loading plan

How to use the container loading planner
- Enter dimensions in centimetres, including packaging and the pallet. Add the number of units and the weight of each unit.
- Set rotation and stacking rules. Calculate and compare 20DV, 40DV, 40HC and trailer layouts for the same cargo.
- Check how many items were placed, review the view from the doors and from above, then download the PDF loading report.
CBM alone does not tell you whether cargo fits
Four units measuring 120 × 80 × 120 cm have a combined volume of 4.608 m³. At 250 kg per unit, the total is 1,000 kg. These totals describe the cargo, but do not prove that it fits: dimensions, door opening, orientation, stacking and payload also matter.
20ft, 40ft or a high-cube container?
Compare the actual calculated layouts rather than choosing by volume alone. 40HC offers more height than 40DV, but extra height only helps when your cargo and stacking rules can use it. For road transport, compare Standard and Mega trailers using the same cargo list.
What the result means
The planner finds a layout under the selected assumptions; it does not guarantee the best possible arrangement. A partial result is not proof that no other layout exists. It does not design cargo securing or certify axle loads, transport stability or a collision-free loading sequence. Confirm the actual equipment and loading method with your operator.
